Simplicity 3826; ca. 1941; Nightgown and BedJacket: The simple, sleeveless gown is made with a becoming V neckline. The bodice, gathered at the lower edge, joins the skirt in a pointed seam above the natural waistline. Tie belts extend from the side seams and tie in back. The armholes, neck and top of skirt are smartly finished with bias binding of matcing or contrasting color. The jacket, which fastens at the neck with a bow, has a pert little collar and the front is trimmed with a patch pocket. Contrasting or matching bias binding finishes the edge of the collar, sleeves and jacket front. Personalize this ensemble with your monogram if you desire.
