Simplicity 3830; ca. 1941; MISSES’ AND WOMEN’S DRESS AND CAPE-JACKET. This is a smart costume for town or travel. The contrasting bodice is made with brief sleeves, pin-tucked at the center, and the collarless neckline is fashionably high. The nicely flared skirt joins the bodice above the well-fitted waistline. The jacket is sleeveless and graceful, flared cape sections are seamed to the shoulder. Rows of stitching trim the edges of the cape sections, front closing and belt.
