Simplicity 3840; ©1941; Misses' and Women's Tailored and Sleeveless Dress. S tyle I is a smart, sleeveless dress for active sports. It is buttoned on each shoulder and rows of stitching trim the neck and armhole edges. The bodice, fitted smoothly at the waistline, joins the skirt in a pointed top-stitched seam. Style II, made with three-quarter length or short sleeves, is finished with a detachable collar. The neck closes in back with a concealed slide fastener.
