Simplicity 3900

Simplicity 3900; ca. early 1940s; Misses' and Women's Dress and Jacket. The well-tailored dress is finished with a smart, notched collar which is cut in one with the deep pointed yoke. The bodice joins the gored skirt at the waistline under a belt which may be purchased or made of self-fabric. Make it with short or long, fitted sleeves. The waist-length jacket is gathered to a wide belt which is closed in front. A patch pocket on the left front may be trimmed with a decorative monogram. Like the dress, the jacket may be made with long or short sleeves.
