Simplicity 3956; ca. 1961; Child's and Girl's Two-Piece Bathing Suit and Beach Coat: Collarless beach coat has short set-in sleeves, front button closing, patch pockets, gathers below yoke and is above the knee length. V. 1 is detailed with saddle stitching. V. 2 has embroidered eyelet edging trim. Bra and pants, both views, are fully lined or faced to the edge. Bra has self fabric straps tied into bows at shoulders, back button closing and elastic at lower edge. Pants have elastic at waistline and leg edges. V. 1 pants have self fabric trim pieces. V. 2 pants have embroidered eyelet edging trim.
