Simplicity 3970; ©1941; Misses' Tailored Dress. Style I, finished with a trim, notched collar, fastens in front under a fly closing. The simple bodice is gathered to the straight-hanging gored skirt at the waistline, beneath a belt. Short sleeves are finished with turn-back cuffs. Style II has an interesting slashed collar, and is buttoned from neckline to hem through band trimming. It is finished with long, fitted sleeves.
