S4027

Simplicity 4027; ©1941;  Misses' and Women's Dress. A tie is joined in the seams of the shoulder yokes and forms a flattering jabot-like bow at the throat in Style I.  The bodice is eased through small inverted pleats at the waistline, where it joins the gracefully gored skirt at the natural waistline under a self-fabric belt.  For Style II a small pointed collar finished the neckline.  Sleeves may be long, fitted and fastened at the wrist with snaps or slide fasteners; or comfortably short and finished with a bias facing.
