Simplicity 4060; ca. 1942; The neckline, finished with a pointed collar, descends in revers to the waistline, where it laps coat-fashion and buttons at the front of the inset belt. Soft fullness, released through dart seams at the front and back of the shoulders, is repeated at the skirt front to keep the sides slim. In Style II, a patch pocket trims the skirt front. Sleeves may be long and gathered to a wrist band or comfortably short.
