Simplicity 4229; ©1942; Junior Miss and Misses' Dress. The bodice is becomingly gathered to a round neck yoke, which may be buttoned in front, or rolled open for an attractive pointed neckline. The bodice and full, gathered skirt are joined to a wide inset belt and patch pockets trim the skirt front. The dress buttons in back from neckline to hem, and bright bias fold tape may be used to trim the pockets, waistband and the applied cuffs of the comfortable, short sleeves.
