Simplicity 4230; ©1942; Misses’ blouse and jumper dress in two lengths. This is a “Mother and Daughter” fashion, for Daughter see Simplicity 4231 (also issued as Simplicity 2198). The jumper, cut heart-shaped at the neckline, is snugly fitted with darts at the waist, where the bodice joins the generously gathered skirt. Embroidery makes a gay border at neck and hemline. In Style II, pockets from the skirt front. The round neck of the blouse opens at the front and fastens with small loops and buttons. Make the sleeves long and gathered to wrist bands, or short and puffed.
