Simplicity 4249; ©1939; Misses and Women’s Dress: The long sleeved bodice of style I is gathered at the shoulders and the front above the waistline. The softly flared skirt joins the bodice below the natural waistline. Style II has short, circular cut sleeves gathered to the armhole and little ribbon bows finish the gathered ends of the shoulders and bodice front. Both styles have becoming necklines.
