Simplicity 4255; ca. 1942; Girls' Dress and Jerkin. The dress, made with a fitted bodice and full skirt, which may be pleated or gathered, is closed under the left arm. A convertible collar finishes the neckline and a little patch pocket trims the left side of the bodice. Dress may be made with short puffed, or long sleeves gathered to a wrist band. The jerkin is dart-fitted and closes under the left arm. Handy patch pockets trim the front.
