Simplicity 4301; ca. early 1940s; Girls' Blouse, Shorts and Jumper. The blouse, finished with a convertible collar, may be made with long sleeves gathered to wrist bands or short sleeves. The jumper buttons to the hem and an inset belt joins bodice and skirt. Patch pockets may be used to trim bodice or skirt and top-stitching or saddle stitching may be used to finish the edges and inset belt. The shorts, pleated at the waistline, fasten at each side.
