Simplicity 4494; 1940s; Misses' and Women's Jackets: Styles I and II lap and button and slot pockets above the bustline may be saddle-stitched or trimmed with braid. The collar is cut in one with the front in Style I. Style II is smartly collarless and has three-quarter length sleeves. Style III is fashioned with a round collar and fabric cord bows lend distinction to jacket front. Lining is optional.
