Simplicity 4639

Simplicity 4639; ca. early 1960s; Toddler's Coat, Hooded Coat and Pants: Double breasted coat has raglan sleeves and welt pocket. V. 1 and 2 have a hood faced to the edges with a contrasting fabric, and may have a drawstring in casing or be worn with front edge turned back. Lined pants have elastic in casing at waistline, side zipper closing and suspenders buttoned in front.

Suggested fabrics: All views: Cottons and blends; broadcloth, corduroy, cotton suede, denim, homespun, poplin, sailcloth, velveteen. Linen. Synthetics and blends. Wools and blends; double knits, flannel, laminates, textured wool, wool fleece. Hood lining also in fake fur.

Additional notions required: Coat View 1, 2 and 3 – thread, bias seam binding, six 3/8” buttons. Pants View 1, 2 and 3 – thread, 5” neck type zipper, two 3/8” buttons.

The pattern has 14 pieces and 1 instruction sheet.
