Simplicity 4640; ca. 1940s; Womens front buttoned dress having a princess seam shaping the bodice and joining the skirt below the waist. The skirt, gathered, in the front and back, has vertical pockets. A sash attaches in side seam and fastens in back. May use rick rack trim, attach or be detachable collar, and short or three quarter sleeves.
