Simplicity 4662; 1940s; Women's Dress and Coat: The smartly simple dress has a gored skirt and a waist that is tucked at the front shoulder and gathered at the lower edge. Style I has an ever-flattering V neck and short sleeves. Style II has a notched collar and three-quarter sleeves. The coat, tucked at the shoulder front, has princess lines at the back forming an inverted pleat at the back waistline.
