Simplicity 4693; ca. 1943; MISSES' AND WOMEN'S BLOUSE AND SKIRT. The blouse front is gathered to the back in a forward shoulder seam and the blouse buttons down the front. Saddle stitching trims the notched collar, short sleeves and pocket at Style I. Styles II and III have long sleeves which are gathered to wrist bands. The pleated skirt, joined to waist band at the upper edge, comes in a street length version and a shorter length for active sportswear.
