Simplicity 4847; ca. 1943; Child's Dress and Panties. The dress is styled with a simulated apron front and the sides of the skirt are softly gathered. A sash is stitched under the panel and ties in the back. Style 1 is fashioned with a small collar and contrasting front panel and is trimmed with narrow self-ruffing. Style 2 and 3 are collarless and may be finished with self-ruffing or rick-rack braid. The lower edge of the panties are gathered into a ruffle.
