Simplicity 4941; ©1944; Child's Dress and Pantie: A "Mother and Daughter Fashion". For "Mother" see Simplicity 4942. A slim inset belt connects the dart fitted bodice and softly gathered skirt. Style I buttons down the back and the neck and sleeve edges are trimmed with rick-rack. A transfer design is included which may be embroidered or appliqued in felt; or applique may be easily done with colored mending tape applied with a hot iron. The lace-trimmed bodice at Style II buttons down the back and the skirt is finished with lace edging and a bias fold band.
