Simplicity 4942; ©1944; A "mother and daughter fashion". For daughter, see Simplicity 4941. A slim inset belt connects the dart fitted bodice and softly gathered skirt. Style 1 buttons down the back and the neck and sleeve edges are trimmed wtih rick rack. A transfer design is included which may be embroidered or appliqued in felt; or applique may be easily done with colored mending tape applied with a hot iron. The lace trimmed bodice at Style Ii buttons down the back and the skirt is finished with lace edging and a bias fold band.
