Simplicity 4953; ©1943; Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Suit: The jacket, which may be lined or unlined is slimly fitted with darts at the shoulder and waistline and finished with a three-button front closing. The seven-gored skirt is attached to a waist band and the skirt front is styled with inverted box pleats which are top-stitched to the hip-line. Style I features a notched collar and two inside pockets finished with a welt. Style II is collarless and two novelty-shaped pockets trim the pocket.
