Simplicity 4972; ca. 1960s; (jr &) Misses’ Dress: Dress has a lowered round neckline, short kimono-style sleeves and Back zipper closing. Back neck edge may be closed with a thread loop and hook or left open forming revers. V.’s 1 and 2 have a full gathered skirt, and corded piping at waistline. V.3 skirt is slim and a purchased belt is worn. V.’s 1 and 3 are trimmed with heave lace and self-fabric bows. V. 2 bodice is of a sheer plain fabric, the skirt is embroidered flouncing.
