The skirt, attached to a a waistband, has an inverted pleat in front and back. Style I is finished with a patch pocket and a notched collar. A striped fabric may be used, with the collar section cut on the crosswise grain. Style II features a V neckline, two patch pockets, a contrasting dickey and detachable cuffs. If made in plaid fabric, pockets may be cut on bias.
