Simplicity 5640, c. 1973. Misses' top, halter-top, and bell-bottom hip-hugger pants or shorts. The pullover top has back zipper, patch pocket and straight or zig-zag top-stitching trim. The halter-top with shaped midriff has "V" shaped neckline and tie end extenstions fastened at lower back and back neck. The bell-bottom hip-hugger pants or shorts made to be worn 2-1/4" below normal waistline have front zipper and upper band.
