Simplicity 6878; ©1985; Top-stitched skirts, gathered to button waistband with flap variations and side seam pockets. Version 1 has belt loops and bias cut front panel. Version 2 has front panel. Version 3 has a front tuck and buttoned flap.

Suggested fabrics: cotton types: chino, poplin, sheeting, gabardine, denim, canvas. Dress-weight linen. Wool flannel, gabardine. Not suitable for obvious diagonals. Maximum amount of fabric needed: 2 5/8yards.

Additional notions required: thread, seam tape or stretch lace, 2 x hook/eye closures, 2-3 5/8" diameter buttons.
