Simplicity 6940; ©1975; Misses' Bridal, Bridesmaid or Prom Dress: V. 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 dress with gored skirt stitched to bodice above normal waistline has back zipper and set-in sleeves. V. 1 or 2 with ribbon trim has high round neckline, standup collar, cape collar and short flared sleeves. Lace or picot edging trimmed V. 1 features cape collar sleeves and stand-up collar overlay of lace fabric. V. 2 has cape collar and sleeves of coordinated sheer fabric. V, 3, 4, 5 has low round neckline. Lace trimmed V. 3 has long sleeves gathered to snap fastened cuffs. Daisy medallion trimmed V. 4 or 5 with short sheer sleeves gathered to sleeve bands features lace overlays on bodice and sleeve bands.
