SIMP 8014 16

Simplicity 8014, ©1949; Misses' One Piece Dress. The bodice and sleeves are cut-in-one with a gusset at the underarm. A tie knot draws up the front and a long torso effect is created by a shaped inset which joins the skirt below the natural waistline.  A pleat underlay on the gathered panel completes the detail of the skirt.  A self or purchased belt circles the waist.  In Version A the sleeves are long and fitted. Version B has short sleeves.
