Simplicity Designers' 8019; ©1949; Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Suit: The flared skirt, finished with a waistband, has an inverted pleat at the center front and back. The jacket, fitted with waistline darts, has a two-button fastening in front. The sleeves are cut in one with the jacket and gussets are inserted at the underarms. Revers and slanting welt pockets are featured. Version A has long sleeves and overlapping collar trims the neck. Machine stitching is used as an accent. Version B has short sleeves, and contrasting bias welts trim the pockets and revers.
