Simplicity Designer's 8051; ca. 1949; Misses' Sun Dress with Short Bolero Top. The slim, sun-back dress has a camisole top and wrap-around type skirt. The very short bolero top features a flat, shaped collar and long or short set-in sleeves. Six small buttons close the front and top-stitching is used for trimming. An additional feature is a patch pocket on the hip.
