Simplicity Designers' 8062; ©1949; Misses' Afternoon Dress. The otherwise slim bodice has gathers over the bust falling from a circular dart seam. A dropped shoulder line is featured. The slim skirt is cut in four sections. A flared panel, joining to the right skirt at the waistline, forms a cascade. The buttons on the bodice front continue into the skirt, fastening it to the cascade. Version A has long loose sleeves falling from the shoulder line. Version B features a pointed collar.
