Simplicity 8074; ©1949; TEEN-AGE TWO-PIECE DANCE DRESS. A double tier of fabric across the back crosses the shoulders to meet the low bodice. This serves as the slight sleeve. The center-front button closing extends past the fabric belt almost to the edge of the jacket, which has a triple-tier extending all around the bottom. The jacket is flared and is wider than the full skirt beneath it. The skirt has a deep inverted pleat in back.
