Simplicity 8154; ca. 1949; Misses' Two-Piece Street Dress. The slightly flared four gore skirt has a side pleat in the center front. The long belted top has a three-button closing, a shaped peplum topped by another shorter peplum and long sleeves with narrow turned-back cuffs fastened at the wrist with one button. Version B eliminates the extra peplum and repeats the 3 button closing at the upper part of the skirt. The jacket is shown with a short cuffed sleeve.
