Simplicity Designer's 8190; ©1949; Misses' and Women's One-Piece Street and Afternoon Dress with Detachable Overskirt. In version A, the square neck bodice has 3/4 sleeves slit at the elbow and gathered at the raglan line onto the bodice front and set-in in the back. Over the five gore skirt is worn a detachable overskirt which joins at the waist and buttons diagonally at the side back. Version B has short sleeves, no overskirt and either a self or purchased belt may be worn.
