1940s Designer dress pattern Penelope Rose at Artfire

Simplicity 8202; ©1949; Misses' 1-Pc. Street and Afternoon Dress. Version A: a one-sided raglan effect is formed by folding part of the bodice front under from neckline to underarm. The 3/4 sleeves are cut in one with the bodice. The skirt is gathered onto an inset band and either a self or purchased belt may be worn  Version B: The bodice front which had been partly folded under in Version A is buttoned at one shoulder. The cap sleeves are cut in one with the bodice. The skirt is the same as Version A except no belt is worn.
