Simplicity Designer's 8271; 1950s; JUNIOR MISSES’ AND MISSES’ ONE-PIECE BATHING SUIT AND SKIRT (MOTHER-DAUGHTER FASHION, for Daughter pattern see Simplicity 8276). The bathing suit has a fitted bodice with ruffle trim, narrow shoulder straps and a short, flared skirt. In Version B the bathing suit is strapless. The street-length skirt is separate. Version C: The bathing suit has narrow shoulder straps. The separate street-length skirt is of contrasting fabric with a large cuffed side pocket.
