Simplicity 8288; ©1969; Misses' Shirt, Vest and Pants: The top-stitched "man-tailored" shirt with front and back shaped yokes, forward shoulder seams, left front band and front button closing has collar, set-in sleeves and patch pockets with buttoned flaps. Decorative metal fasteners may be used instead of buttons and buttonholes. V. 1 and 2 have long sleeves pleated to buttoned cuffs. V. 3 has short sleeves. The top-stitched pants with fly front zipper closing, waistband and purchased belt or scarf slipped thru self fabric carriers feature shaped back yoke and front yokes forming pockets. The lined vest V. 1 has "V" neckline and curved front edges.
