Simplicity 9178; ©1970; Simple-To-Sew Misses' Tunic and Hip-Hugger Pants: (Including a Tissue Lesson Chart ... "How-to Apply Flat Braid"). The tunic with slits in side seams and three quarter length kimono sleeves has front slit opening in lowered round neckline fastened with loop and button. V. 1 has optional embroidered braid trim. V. 2 has a purchased belt. The hiphugger pants with cord drawstring slipped thru casing at upper edge have rick-rack trimmed patch pocket and are made to be worn 2" below normal waistline.
