Simplicity 9179; ©1970; Simple-To-Sew Teen Boys' and Men's Tunic and Hip-Hugger Pants: (Including a Tissue Lesson Chart..."How to Apply Flat Braid"). The tunic with slits in side seams and three quarter length kimono sleeves has front slit opening in lowered round neckline fastened with loop and button. V. 1 has optional embroidered braid trim. The hip-hugger pants with front zipper closing have cord drawstring slipped thru casing at upper edge and rick-rack trimmed patch pocket. The teen-boys' pants are made to be worn 2 1/2" below normal waistline; men's pants are made to be worn 1 1/2 " below normal waistline.
