Mailorder1037

Spadea 1037; ca. 1951; Button & loop shirtwaist style bodice ends in a stand up collar. Long sleeves with french cuffs are cut in one with the side bodice panels. The skirt is where you'll find the trademark Ceil touch with the envelope flapped draping. From the envelope: Ceil Chapman The Occasion Dress. For the big party season ahead, Ceil Chapman, famous for elegant lines in every one of her original designs, has created this smart dress. A tight fitting bodice with a softly rounded shoulder line is set off by a voluptuous bouffant draped skirt. The sleeves are long and slim with a perky turn up cuffs. Finished hem: 145".
