The four-gored skirt of VERA MAXWELL’s classic suit is cut in a full circle to swing out from under the hipbone length jacket, which is darted to fit snugly into the waist. Three rows of top stitching finish off the collar with its pointed curves matching the bottom edge of the jacket, the pocket flaps and split, turned-back cuffs. Fabric: multi-colored tweed or flannel, menswear wool, broad-cloth novelty wool or striped fabrics.
