Spadea 8-C; ©1960; Duchess of Windsor Pattern. The costume of dress and jacket can be the backbone of any woman's wardrobe because it travels, goes to the office, or a dinner party. The Duchess designs and unusual one. The princess line dress is gently eased at the waist for a smooth fit over the hips. It is a step-in with a sweetheart neckline and no sleeves. The short jacket is slightly blouson, with a wide molded waistband that suggests the new low waist look. The collar is set softly away from the neck, and two large buttons give the outfit a suit look.
