Spadea N-1016; ©1962; Michael Paul – One piece coat. Cut with flare and made in a flash to wear with a flourish – as a glamorous evening wrap or a morning coffee coat, a country casual or a city topper. Surely one of the most versatile and imaginative designs to appear on the fashion scene, it requires but ONE PATTERN PIECE and fits all sizes 8 to 42 with only length adjustment. Can be reversible if you choose or lined with fabric matching a dress to create a costume. The T-seaming in back forms a precise mitre that is most effective when using ribbed or corded weaves. To avoid piecing, the fabric should be at least 50’’ wide.
