1965. Spadea Designer Pattern by Mollie Parnis 1294. Mollie Parnis brings back the feminine shirtwaist dress. This is one-piece. The notched collar is set on a wide curve away from the neck, with plenty of room for beads. The set-in ¾ sleeves have French cuffs. The bodice is slightly fitted. The paneled skirt has an easy slim shape and sports pockets with the opening concealed in the panel. To top it all off, Mollie Parnis sets a large bow on the belt. Make it long, in three colors, for evenings at home. The original colors were peach, almond and cream. Make it short, in one color, for daytime wear.
