Spadea NA-2139; ©1965; This is Shannon Rodger's idea of a decolletage neckline, squared off by a "modesty" permanently stitched into a position and framed by a very narrow notched collar. There is the slightest hint of a sleeve in the extended drop over the shoulder. The bodice is snugly fitted with the waistline lifted in front. A straight, slim skirt is softly gathered into this waist seam at a side front and a slide fastener closes the left side opening. A "conversation piece" bow, secured on the belt at center front, has a tricky knot that has to be seen to be believed.
