Spadea International Designer S-274; ca. 1955; Charles Montaigne - Misses' Dress. Chic, two-piece dress that is perfect for fabrics with a striped, textured weave, such as corduroy. The front bodice band, cut-in-one with midriff section, buttons up to a snug little collar. Trim cuffs finish off the three-quarter length, set-in sleeves. Wide gores are box-pleated to form the full skirt. Fabrics: Corduroy, linen, length striped novelty cottons, shantung, faille, length stripped silks, light weight tweeds.
