Spadea S-426; ca. 1960; Charles Montaigne - Misses' Dress. “The lines are terrific, as plotted by Charles Montaigne, artful designer for the mature woman. This model is gently shaped and as perfectly styled for the size 20 figure as for slimmer sisters. The button-front opening is cut with an insert effect, achieved by the applied strap that is an extension of the bodice side panels. Serge, flannel or sheer wool are fine for spring, linen, pique, raw silk or rayon for summer. Select the size best for you.” (as stated in Buffalo Courier-Express, January 17, 1960)
