SpadeaY3091

Spadea Y-3091; ©1966; The Greeks had a word for it. Bias and drapery and one bare shoulder. Ancient Greek sculpture has been inspiring great designers for centuries; now this speedy. (sic) This dress is so subtly fitted, it barely touches the body. It has long diagonal darts on each side that do the trick and has no regulation side seams. That fabric just goes down and around on a true bias for wonderful drape. It is very speedy to sew, being unlined for clinging purposes. It ties simply on the shoulder, as shown. You can make it in a couple of hours and float to a party. Make it in crepe or any similar fabric, plain or printed. Avoid pique, faille or any stiff fabric.
