100 stretch & sew

Stretch & Sew 100; ©1988; Compo-Knits: One of the compo- knit collection that builds a whole wardrobe from a few basic components. This pattern is the foundation of the system and contains just 8 pattern pieces. All garments are loose fitting and easy to sew with straight seams and hems finished with zigzag topstitching. The main pattern piece creates a pull-on dress, top, straight skirt or tube dress, or an open-front jacket or vest. These garments come in five lengths; feature cap sleeves, straight sleeves with roll-up cuffs, tapered push-up sleeves or short sleeves; and optional pockets. Necklines can be turned under and hemmed; finished with self-trim or ribbing on a crew neck or with self-trim hood. Skirts come in three lenths and have sport elastic at waist. Full skirt has side seams. Slim skirt has optional pockets and one seam at center back with vent. Pants have sport elastic at the waist and optional pockets. Jumpsuit has a front or back zipper, optional pockets, sleeves as described for dress or top, neckline that is turned under and hemmed, or topped with a hood. Accessory pieces include a separate cowl, bandeau/belt or sash belt.
