Stretch & Sew 1586; ©1986; Designer Shirt and Dress.  One pattern, many looks!  The Designer Shirt and Dress is fashionably oversized, with set-in sleeves, dropped shoulders with optional removable shoulder pads, and topstitching accents.  Sew any view as a shirt or dress.  For shirts, choose a shirttail hem with same length on front and back or longer length in back.  For dresses, choose a shirttail or straight hem.  View A has a two-piece collar, buttoned front opening, bellows pockets with flaps, easy-to-sew sleeve placket with buttoned cuff, back yoke and back pleat stitched from waist down.  View B has a pleated front with shirt placket, plus same collar and sleeves as View A.  (Fabric with no obvious right or wrong side is recommended for View B.)  View C has a Mandarin collar, front placket opening, back pleat stitched from neckline and again from waist to lower edge, and short, hemmed sleeves.  View D has a one-piece collar, back yoke, roll-up sleeves and a front opening like View A.  (Wrong side of fabric will show when sleeves are rolled up.)
